We spent Sunday, February 17 driving around Strangford Lough with D&F, starting by driving through Groomsport and Donaghadee, then crossing back over through Newtownards and south through the green pastures towards Downpatrick on the west side of the lough. The day was crisp but also a little foggy in the distance that diffused the sunlight and kept us chilly. By dusk, we were crossing from Strangford to Portaferry on the little ferry and beginning to think about where to get some fish and chips for tea.
