Who knew that people stilled lived in castles? The Hamilton family does, and has been in the Killyleagh Castle for some 300 years. The sign on the gate politely asked us to stay outside the walls but welcomed us to take photos from the arched entranceway. So we did.

Winter Field Trips: Killyleagh Castle, Co. Down

Coastal Views in Bangor, County Down
The top view is of the backyard at the house we're taking care of; the coastal views are about a 10 minute walk away. We walk along this coast on the trail that goes for miles in both directions.
